Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) masonry infill is one of the most common types of infill used in steel structures in Nepal. To get a more reliable answer when subjected to seismic action, it should be taken into account in structural modeling. Therefore, the basic purpose of the investigation was to determine the seismic performance of of the low rise bare frame steel building and steel frame building with AAC Block masonry infill; to determine the Response Reduction Factor of bare frame steel building and steel frame building with AAC Block masonry infill, and to develop the Fragility Curve of the steel frame building with AAC Block masonry infill. A macro modeling approach was used to study the effect of infill walls on the seismic performance of Steel frame buildings. The models are analyzed using Equivalent Static Analysis, Non-linear Static Pushover analysis, and the results obtained for the primary design parameter like base shear force, displacement, and Response Reduction Factor including Ductility factor, Over Strength factor, Redundancy Factor, and Fragility curve were interpreted. The research found that the performance of the Low-rise steel frame building with AAC Block masonry infill was better than the Bare Frame Steel.-
