The typology for this project will be the school for visually impaired. The visually impaired people have the right to be able to navigate effortlessly through the built environment. As a designer, it is our duty to ensure the safety and welfare of all the people who uses the building. Therefore, in designing we must ensure the need and requirement of everyone. In design we should consider all senses through which we can gather information rather than only considering sight. The main goal is to provide them with the proper education and all necessary independent, social, communication and creative skills in order to empower them to jump back in the society holding their head up high. Another goal is to design for the senses through which visually impaired can gather information and can travel independently throughout the buildings. The objectives will be achieved through the literature review, case studies, survey studies and interview with the visually impaired. This school provides students with the opportunities for recreational and interaction with the environment while offering the ultimate sensory experience for the visually impaired. In this school vocational training and other different interactive activities are provided to enable them to integrate in the main stream of society with full and active participation. In conclusion this project “School for Visually Impaired” is the public institution which includes school and other recreational activities for visually impaired. Finally design resulted in form of presentation drawingen_US
