Abstract: Library Management System (LMS) is software built to handle the primary housekeeping function of a library. Systems for managing libraries' asset collections and interactions with patrons are essential. Using library management systems, libraries may keep track of members' profiles, book inventory, and book checkouts. Our project's primary goal is to develop an RFID-based library management system, which will be followed by authentication and validation. The interface between the RFID card and RFID reader initiates the process for the user authentication system. If the user's card is already registered, then inputting the user's credential, which contains a number of users' pre-registered information in the database that permits additional book transaction procedure, further confirms the authenticity of the card. When necessary, an HTTP request is generated for database maintenance, book status notifications, and other purposes via a web application. When a request is issued and verified, the REST API is given access to process the notice and receives the information needed to do so. In the absence of generation and transmission, the interface doesn't use the API any more. For anti-theft purposes, the books taken by users are first verified to see if they have been scanned or not. If the books are permitted to scan, the database is updated with all of the cardholder's book transaction data. If the book is removed from the library without being properly scanned, the buzzer is set off and an alerting noise is made to confirm both the book and the individual trying to flee. The RFID use used, detected the tag up to 4cm.
