Abstract: As per the academic syllabus of fourth year in Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, there are various projects provided to be carried out. Students are encouraged to choose project in their field of interest. Hydropower Project is also one of these projects field. The main objective behind this is the production of qualified technical human resource able to understand the full responsibility regarding the design, construction and supervision of such project. In this regard, Khwopa Engineering College has also provided hydropower project as a project in the final year, knowing its importance, vital role and scope in the field of engineering. Nepal possesses a great potential in hydropower incorporating 6,000 small and big rivers flowing across the country. Among all types of natural resources, hydropower plays a vital role in the nation’s economic development. Utilization of waterpower in different form like hydroelectric, navigation, tourism, irrigation, and water supply schemes lead to better economic conditions. Policy makers and the leaders should know the importance of hydropower and small-scale hydropower generation should be appreciated and encouraged. “Pre-Feasibility Study of Upper Piluwa Khola-3 Hydropower Project” is a report prepared by the students of Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering final year as a part of our project.
