Transportation is one of the important sectors for the prosperity and upliftment of a nation. Out of many modes of transport , road transport is most widely used in Nepal. This is due to topographic condition and state of economy of whole country. As road is feasible than other means of transport, the Government of Nepal has given importance to the development and exploration of road sector. Goal of the project is to design the roadway from Bramayani to Tathali District Road with proper cost estimation of the project . This is possible due to the topographic survey of the area by open traverse method. The data obtained is plot in SW Road V2 and required parameters are designed accordingly. Pavement design is conducted by CBR test and through Overseas Road Note 31. The main objective of the project work is to gain practical and relevant knowledge on design and estimation of road. This report is an outcome of efforts of individuals, patience and perseverance. Opinions, suggestions or recommendations is welcome.en_US
