Abstract: | This project Design and Implementation of Digital Door Locking System using ESP-32 is a manual door lock system that can be controlled remotely through smart phone and switch manually. This project�s major goal is to ensure door lock at an affordable price to local households. In this project, we connect IoT Wi-Fi module (ESP-32) as a main microcontroller with the solenoidal lock for door lock and unlock. We have worked on ESP-32 as a main controller and relay as a switch to control solenoid. And the circuit was configured by using manual locking mode, server mode and combine switch mode. In manual locking mode, we simply press the switch that activates the locking or unlocking mechanism through triggering of relay module. For the server mode, we set up a Wi-Fi server with the ESP32, generating a unique network and password. After uploading the code, we retrieve the IP address from the serial monitor. Entering this IP in a browser opens a server interface with "Lock" and "Unlock" buttons, remotely controlling the solenoid lock. Finally for the combine switch mode, we integrated the manual switch with the web server, enabling dual control of the solenoid lock. It can now be operated either manually with the switch or remotely through the web interface. We believe that the research carried out during the project shall be invaluable for people who wants door access via remotely and manually offering convenience and flexibility. |
