dc.description.abstract | Resort is a place to spend holiday for relaxation and recreation. It is the place where people can enjoy everything in one location including food, lodging and various recreational activities Tourism in Nepal is one of the most flourishing and foreign income generating sectors. Resort is becoming popular in Nepal as number of tourists visiting Nepal is increasing day by day. Total tourist visiting Nepal in 2024 has increased by 13% reaching 11.5 lakhs tourist per year. People prefer to visit various destination resorts for relaxation and entertainment. Hence, this project aims to create a place to attract both international and domestic tourist and provide them with a pleasure atmosphere throughout their stay. This project also aims to provide an interactive ground for locals and visitors so that there may be interchange of ideas and cultural and also contribute in growth of local economy through tourism. This report contains brief description of case-study of Chandragiri Hills, Mystic Mountain Resort, S & N Resort and Complex Taj Rishikesh Resort & Spa along with the literature review about resort. It also contains site analysis, climatic data analysis of above case studies. The method of information collection was done from different websites on Internet and questionnaire with related people. Some books were also followed. The final section of this report provides the site information on which design of the project is proposed along with the analysis parts. The site selection for this resort has been done in Kalapani, Sailung Rural Municipality, surrounded by hills and Mountains, providing scenic view from the site. Design is done considering various site factors, site locations and most importantly providing good views from the site. This report in brief explains about the overall project with drawings at the end. | - |
