Abstract

In the contemporary era of globalization and digital influence, the fashion and modeling industries are rapidly evolving, not only as artistic expressions but also as significant contributors to the creative economy. With growing awareness, social media influence, and commercial potential, there is a rising demand for spaces that foster creativity, skill-building, and collaboration within these industries. However, there remains a gap in integrated infrastructure that supports aspiring models and fashion professionals in a holistic and functional environment. To address this gap, my thesis project envisions Fashion and Modelling Arena, a comprehensive architectural solution that combines modeling education, fashion resources, and event infrastructure under one roof. The primary focus is on providing professional training in modeling, including runway skills, grooming, and camera presence. Supporting this is a dedicated fashion arena that offers costumes, styling services, and fashion-related resources essential for modeling. Additionally, a dynamic event hall is included to host fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry events, creating opportunities for exposure and networking. This project not only caters to the educational and professional needs of emerging talents but also aims to commercialize and celebrate the fashion industry, making it more accessible and appealing. By merging creativity, professionalism, and community, the Fashion and Modelling Arena becomes a collaborative hub for innovation and growth in Nepal's fashion and modeling sectors.
